... is setting up a production facility for bio-oil in Belgium and Germany. The close collaboration & partnership with the local waste management authority has resulted in an agreement to feed this (demo) plant with sorted & dried municipal waste.Subsequently we will sell sorting lines and pyrolysis plants all over the world.
The existing sorting facilities
... now processes & sorts the municipal residual waste. The output of this facility serves as direct fuel for the fast pyrolysis process.
Advantages are:
- Conversion of municipal waste into a storable & easy-to-transport fuel
- Ecological solution for re-use of natural resources according to the closed loop economy principles
(waste → fuel → renewable energy) - Dramatic reduction of waste volume
- Less CO2 or methane emissions (no organics/plastics on landfills)
- Existing landfills can be mined and the organic/plastic fraction can be converted in liquid energy, in the same time the stinking and rotting problems of landfills are being solved
- Solving environmental problems
- Production of electricity/heat from waste
- Economically viable
- Pyrolysis oil is storable, transportable and possible to refine.
Additionally, you can use the oil at the moment you need electricity or heat. So in combination with wind and solar energy you can use the oil at moments you don’t get energy from other sources.
